The change of the Klingons is not good in my eyes. I understand the arguments that they had to be “updated” but that argument doesn’t hold water with me as they are not updated in this series, they are of a whole new look. I would call the Klingons updated through the TNG to DS9 series as they had revisions to their look. The TNG look in full uniform do look like warriors and at the same time endearing. The Discovery Klingons just look gross and impractical.

As far as this episode, Cold Station 12, goes, did anyone notice that the actor that played General Martok in DS9, J.G. Hertzler, was the actor that was the captain of the ship that the Augments’ captured? That brought a smile to my face.

Thanks again for a great episode!
